Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (PNETs) or islet cell tumors are neuroendocrine neoplasms that arise from cells of the endocrine and nervous system within the pancreas. Patients with PNET sometimes do not show any symptoms, known as nonfunctioning (NF) sporadic PNET. It is still debatable regarding the best approach in the NF for small PNET.
