Introduction: Early-life osteosarcoma is associated with severe morbidity and mortality, particularly affecting young children and adults. The present cancer treatment regimen is exceedingly costly, and medications like ifosfamide, doxorubicin, and cisplatin have unneeded negative effects on the body. With the introduction of hyphenated technology to create medications based on plant molecules, the application of ayurvedic medicine as a new dimension (formulation, active ingredients, and nanoparticles) in the modern period is rapidly growing.

In this study, a one-step hydrothermal approach was used to make pure magnetic copper ferrite (CuFeO) and copper ferrite-graphene oxide (CuFeO-rGO) nanocomposites (NCs) and spinel structure CuFeO with a single phase of tetragonal CuFeO-rGO-NCs was confirmed by the XRD. Then, characterization of CuFeO-rGO-NCs was done using ng Raman spectroscopy, FT-IR, TGA-DTA, EDS, SEM, and TEM. The synthesized NCs was exposed to UV light to evaluate its photocatalytic activity for the degradation of methylene blue (MB) and rhodamine B (RhB) with CuFeO and CuFeO-rGO-NCs, respectively.

Well-dispersed catalysts such as BiPO, ZnO nanoparticles (NPs), and different ratios of BiPO/ZnO nanocomposites (NCs) were synthesized through hydrothermal treatments. The morphological behavior of the prepared catalysts was characterized using XRD, Raman spectra, PL, UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-DRS), SEM, EDX, and Fe-SEM.

Nanomaterials in the regime 1 -100 nm scale are a promising material for the research fraternities owing to their stupendous properties. The metallic/metal oxide nanoparticles (silver, gold, copper oxide, iron oxide, magnesium oxide) are gaining significant momentum and need to be extensively studied.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFAmongst the current alternatives, algae were proven to be a promising source of biofuel, which is renewable and capable of meeting world demand for transportation fuels. However, a suitable lipid extraction method that efficiently releases the lipids from different algal strains remains a bottleneck. The multifarious pretreatment methods are prevalent in this field of lipid extraction, and therefore, this article has critically reviewed the various lipid extraction methods for ameliorating the lipid yield from algae, irrespective of the strains/species.

This disorder comes along with an overproduction of kynurenic acid in the cerebrospinal fluid and the prefrontal cortex of SCZ patients. In this study, marine bacterial compounds were screened for their suitability as antagonists against human kynurenine aminotransferase (hKAT-1) which causes the synthesis of kynurenic acid downstream which ultimately causes the SCZ disorder according to the kynurenic hypothesis of SCZ.
