De Garengeot hernia is a rare type of femoral hernia that presents with appendicitis. This clinical condition that usually occurs in the 7th decade, mostly in women, requires urgent surgery. Here, we present a 73-year-old patient with acute appendicitis within the femoral hernia sac.

Factors Predicting the Reversal of Hartmann's Procedure.

Aim: This paper investigates the risk factors preventing the reversal and nonreversal of Hartmann's procedure, as a surgical technique that has been performed in our clinic for ten years.

Methods: The study involved a ten-year Hartmann's procedure followed up at our center. The patients were divided into Hartmann reversal and nonreversal groups.

Aim: To investigate the reliability and educational value of YouTube videos of minimally invasive complete mesocolic excision with right hemicolectomy procedures.

Materials And Methods: We searched YouTube with the terms "Laparoscopic and Robotic Complete Mesocolic Excision with Right Hemicolectomy" on January 12, 2021. To assess the reliability of the videos, we evaluated nine steps in each video and scored the videos based on the key steps they contained.

Is there a survival difference between older adult and younger adult patients with locally advanced gastric cancer with the same lymph node ratio?

Introduction: The aim of this study was to clarify the prognostic value of the pathological lymph node ratio for older adult and younger adult gastric cancer patients and to evaluate whether there is a difference in the survival of patients with the same lymph node ratio (LNR).

We present here a gastrostomy procedure performed on a patient diagnosed with COVID-19 with no oral intake due to esophageal cancer in order to permit the initiation of COVID-19 treatment, and the COVID-19 protocols followed as per the pandemic guidelines. A 55-year-old female patient diagnosed recently with esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma was consulted for a surgical gastrostomy in the absence of oral intake due to complete esophageal obstruction prior to neoadjuvant chemotherapy. The patient had a new-onset cough and elevated body temperature (38°C) on admission to our clinic, and so was tested for COVID-19, with the final diagnosis established with PCR.

Methods: A basic search was conducted on the YouTube website on November 19, 2020, using the English keywords "colorectal cancer screening," without using any filter.

Recurrent intestinal ischemia related to Behçet's Disease.

Objectives: Although non-traumatic Small Bowel Perforations (SBPs) are rare, they have high rates of morbidity and mortality in case of late presentation. Aetiological factors vary across different geographical regions. In this paper, SBPs caused by anything other than trauma and other well-known causes are presented and the current literature is reviewed.

The term bezoar refers to an intraluminal mass in the gastrointestinal system caused by the accumulation of indigestible ingested materials, such as vegetables, fruits, and hair. Bezoars are responsible for 0.4%-4% of cases of mechanical intestinal obstruction.

Indirect inguinal hernia sac containing testis and spermatic cord in an adult patient with cryptorchidism.

Sliding hernias are those in which part of the sac wall is formed by a retroperitoneal organ and/or its mesentery protruding outside the abdominal wall cavity. The hernia sac may contain jejunum, ileum, vermiform appendix, Meckel's diverticulum, stomach, ovary, fallopian tube or urinary bladder. Our report features an adult case with cryptorchidism in which testis and spermatic cord constitute a component of the indirect inguinal hernia sac.
