Retrospective analysis of lithium treatment: examination of blood levels.

Introduction: Lithium is a key medication for treating various neuropsychiatric disorders, with a narrow therapeutic index and significant drug interactions. Monitoring lithium blood levels is crucial. This study aims to investigate the relationship between lithium blood levels and demographic characteristics such as age and gender, as well as possible drug interactions, in patients with a history of lithium use who applied to various services and outpatient clinics.

Determination of lipemia acceptance thresholds for 31 immunoassay analytes.

Background: Lipemia is one of common endogenous interferences that can compromises sample quality and potentially influence results of various laboratory methods. Determination of the lipemic index or triglyceride concentrations are used to define the degree of lipemia. This study was aimed to establish lipemic index (LI) and triglyceride thresholds above where significant interference exists for 31 immunoassay analytes measured on Roche Cobas 6000.

Immune dysfuncion has been implicated to be important part of pathopysiology of OCD and different lines of evidence suggests immune abnormalities in OCD.

A high-oleic-acid and low-palmitic-acid soybean: agronomic performance and evaluation as a feedstock for biodiesel.

Phenotypic characterization of soybean event 335-13, which possesses oil with an increased oleic acid content (> 85%) and reduced palmitic acid content (< 5%), was conducted across multiple environments during 2004 and 2005. Under these conditions, the stability of the novel fatty acid profile of the oil was not influenced by environment. Importantly, the novel soybean event 335-13 was not compromised in yield in both irrigated and non-irrigated production schemes.
