Purpose: To evaluate the effects of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) on choroidal vascularity index (CVI) and subfoveal choroidal thickness (SFCT).
Methods: The study included 56 eyes of 56 rheumatoid arthritis patients and 65 eyes of 65 age- and sex-matched healthy normal participants. CVIs of all participants were measured by transferring enhanced depth imaging optical coherence tomography (EDI-OCT) images to the image J program that is software used for image binarization and compared between the 2 groups.
Adult-onset foveomacular vitelliform dystrophy (AOFVD) is a rare disease characterized by accumulation of yellowish deposits in the macula. Rarely, it may be complicated by choroidal neovascularization (CNV). Cases with CNV may be confused with occult CNV in age-related macular degeneration.

Aims: The purpose of this study is to evaluate an Altmetric analysis of the 50 most cited refractive surgery articles in Ophthalmology journals and to compare them with traditional metrics.
Methods: The term "refractive surgery" was searched, using a time filter between 2010-2020 in the Web of Science core collection database. The 50 most cited articles between 2010 and 2020 were recorded.

Background: To present the effects of vitamin D insufficiency on the choroidal vascularity index, central choroid and central macula.
Methods: 42 eyes of 42 patients with vitamin D insufficiency and 51 eyes of 51 age- and sex-matched healthy subjects were included in this retrospective, cross-sectional, and comparative study. The macular layer was examined using the retinal mapping mode of the spectral domain Optical coherence tomography (Optovue RTVue XR, Optovue Inc.
Purpose: We aimed to compare the predictive effect of pre-injection intraocular pressure (IOP) and anterior segment parameters on post-injection IOP values after intravitreal bevacizumab injection for neovascular age-related macular degeneration (NVAMD) in phakic and pseudophakic patient groups.
Material And Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study included 65 eyes of 65 treatment-naive NVAMD patients. Patients were divided into two groups according to their lens status (35 phakic and 30 pseudophakic patients).
Background: Patients use the YouTube platform to get information about pterygium surgery, and this affects the treatment decisions of the patients.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the quality and reliability of YouTube videos as educational resources about pterygium surgery.
Design: This is a register-based retrospective study.

Ornithine aminotransferase (OAT) deficiency is an autosomal recessive disease characterized by elevated serum ornithine levels caused by mutations in genes encoding for ornithine aminotransferase, a vitamin B6-dependent mitochondrial matrix enzyme. Gyrate atrophy (GA) is characteristic findings in OAT that characterized by sharply demarcated circular, pigmentary, brain-like areas of chorioretinal atrophy in the peripheral retina. This case report presents rare assosiation between OAT and GA and describes the characteristic imaging findings of this unique, not fully understood clinical entity.

Methods: Eighty-four eyes of 42 healthy volunteers were evaluated in this prospective study. The central macular layer was assesed using the retinal map mode of the spectral domain OCT (Optovue RTVue XR, Optovue Inc.
Purpose: To compare the 3-month results of treatment with 20% autologous serum or combination treatment with preservative-free artificial tears and 0.05% cyclosporine in patients with dry eye disease due to primary Sjögren's syndrome.
Methods: A total of 130 eyes of 65 patients with newly diagnosed dry eye disease due to primary Sjögren's syndrome were included in the study.
Background: Transient increase in intraocular pressure (IOP), changes in anterior chamber parameters, and changes in aqueous humor dynamics may occur after intravitreal injections because of intravitreal volume changes.
Objective: In this observational study, we investigated the early effects of intravitreal bevacizumab (IVB) injection on IOP, central corneal thickness (CCT), corneal volume (CV), anterior chamber depth (ACD), and iridocorneal angle (ICA).
Method: The patients who had one single-dose IVB (2.
