Anomalous Superfluid Density in a Disordered Charge-Density-Wave Material: Pd-Intercalated ErTe_{3}.

We image local superfluid density in single crystals of Pd-intercalated ErTe_{3} below the superconducting critical temperature T_{c}, well below the onset temperature T_{CDW} of (disordered) charge-density-wave order. We find no detectable inhomogeneities on micron scales. We observe a rapid increase of the superfluid density below T_{c}, deviating from the behavior expected in a conventional Bardeen-Cooper-Schrieffer superconductor, and show that the temperature dependence is qualitatively consistent with a combination of quantum and thermal phase fluctuations.

The present study is a maiden attempt to assess jute crop lodging due to super cyclone Amphan (20 May 2020) by synergistic use of Sentinel-2 (optical) and Sentinel-1 (SAR) data over part of West Bengal, India. Pre-event Sentinel-2 data (9 April, 14 May) along with the ground information were used to map the jute crop of the affected districts with accuracy of 85%. The cross-polarized backscatter (σ) of Sentinel-1 was found to be sensitive to the sudden change in the canopy structure due to lodging and partial flooding.

Here, using a chronic unpredictable stress (CUS) paradigm the characterization of an array of mood disorder phenotypes in adult zebrafish, in comparison to normal control unstressed fish, was achieved using a battery of behavioral assays including novel ones comprising social interaction test, feed approach test, threat response test and novel tank test.

Clinical efficacy of universal adhesives for the restoration of noncarious cervical lesions: A randomized clinical trial.

Introduction: The efficacy of an adhesive agent is an important aspect in restoring noncarious cervical lesion (NCCL) as studies have proved that compromise in adhesive agent results in reduced bond strength. The purpose of this prospective randomized double-blind clinical trial was to evaluate the efficacy of the newly formulated "universal" dental adhesive in the restoration of NCCLs in permanent dentition using either a self-etch or a selective-etch approach.
