Article Synopsis
  • Tenascin (TN) is an extracellular matrix glycoprotein involved in both normal development and cancer formation in the endometrium.
  • The study examined TN expression across different endometrial conditions, including normal, hyperplastic, and cancerous tissues, and correlated findings with patient characteristics such as age and stage of cancer.
  • Results showed significant differences in TN staining between neoplastic and non-neoplastic tissues, suggesting TN may play a role in endometrial cell growth and possibly cancer development.
