Health related quality of life (HRQoL) is a relevant result when assessing the course of different pathologies and the efficacy of their treatments. HRQoL has been studied previously on adults born small for gestational age (SGA), both in the general population and in patients who had received recombinant human growth hormone (rhGH) treatment, with disparate results. Although reference catalogs are used to determine the thermal properties of construction materials, the use of novel materials or non-homogeneous mixtures, particularly with biomaterials, demands the development of new instruments that are capable of performing rapid, accurate and cost-effective thermal characterization. This study introduces the ambient hot-box, a new tool for measuring the thermal properties of construction components and heterogeneous materials.

Analysis of Rn Surface Concentrations in the Basque Country (Spain): A Case Study of Heat Waves.

The objective of this study was to characterize radon concentrations registered in the Radiological Surveillance Network of the Basque country in relation to local meteorological parameters, and to determine its behaviour under heatwave events. For this purpose, radon measurements and meteorological parameters from June 2012 to June 2015 were analysed at two sites, Bilbao and Vitoria (northern Spain), in a region characterized by complex orography, causing large temporal and spatial variability in meteorological conditions. Yearly, seasonal, and diurnal cycle differences and similarities were investigated at both sites.

Brexucabtagene Autoleucel for Relapsed or Refractory Mantle Cell Lymphoma in Standard-of-Care Practice: Results From the US Lymphoma CAR T Consortium.

Purpose: Brexucabtagene autoleucel (brexu-cel) is an autologous CD19-directed chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy approved for relapsed/refractory mantle cell lymphoma (MCL). This therapy was approved on the basis of the single-arm phase II ZUMA-2 trial, which showed best overall and complete response rates of 91% and 68%, respectively. Managing Ibrutinib-Intolerant Patients With B-Cell Malignancies.

Ibrutinib is a first-generation inhibitor of Bruton tyrosine kinase (BTK) that is currently approved to treat patients with B-cell malignancies, including Waldenström macroglobulinemia (WM), relapsed/refractory (R/R) mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), R/R marginal zone lymphoma (MZL), and chronic lymphocytic leukemia/small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL). Off-target adverse effects, such as atrial fibrillation, hypertension, and bleeding, have been observed and may limit a patient's tolerance for treatment. Currently, there is no well-established treatment regimen for patients who cannot tolerate ibrutinib.

This paper presents a meteorological approach to identify local and remote sources driving the variability of surface daily radon concentrations. To this purpose, hourly Rn concentration and surface meteorological measurements, and air mass trajectories at Bilbao station (northern Iberian Peninsula) during the period 2017-2018 have been taken as reference. To investigate the potential transport pathways and potential Rn sources, the backward trajectory cluster analysis, trajectory sector analysis (TSA), and potential source contribution function (PSCF) are applied.

Introduction: Supra-scapular nerve (SSN) neuropathy is a rare condition that can cause shoulder dysfunction. Prior literature has identified mass effect, space occupying lesions, trauma, and repetitive overhead activities as possible etiologies.

Cases Presentations: We report two cases of SSN neuropathy; a 21-year-old competitive female volleyball player with traction associated neuropathy and a 45-year-old male with a large paralabral ganglion cyst causing compressive neuropathy.

The performance of protected-area expansions in representing tropical Andean species: past trends and climate change prospects.

Protected area (PA) extent has increased significantly over the last 150 years globally, but it is yet unclear whether progress in expanding coverage has been accompanied by improved performance in ecological representation. Here, we explore temporal trends in the performance of PA networks in representing > 16,000 vertebrate and plant species in tropical Andean countries based on species bioclimatic niche modelling. We use a randomization analysis to assess whether representation gains over time (1937-2015) are the expected consequence of increasing the overall area of the network or the result of better designed networks.

The iR regimen (ibrutinib plus lenalidomide and rituximab) for relapsed/refractory DLBCL: A multicentre, non-randomised, open-label phase 2 study.

Background: This phase 1b/2 PCYC-1123-CA study evaluated efficacy and safety of the combination of ibrutinib, lenalidomide, and rituximab (iR regimen) in patients with relapsed/refractory diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) ineligible for stem cell transplantation.

Methods: In phase 2, patients with relapsed/refractory non-germinal centre B-cell-like DLBCL received oral ibrutinib 560 mg once daily and oral lenalidomide 20 mg or 25 mg once daily on Days 1-21 of each 28-day cycle until disease progression or unacceptable toxicity and intravenous rituximab 375 mg/m on Day 1 of Cycles 1-6. The primary endpoint was overall response rate (ORR) in the response-evaluable population (received any study treatment and had ≥1 post-baseline disease assessment).

This paper deals with novel biocomposite hydrogels composed by two biocompatible materials: welan gum as biopolymer matrix and sepiolite as filler. Welan gum content was studied as a tuning parameter to control the rheological properties of the developed biocomposites.

Don't Put the CART Before the Horse: The Role of Radiation Therapy in Peri-CAR T-cell Therapy for Aggressive B-cell Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Purpose: The optimal approach to incorporate radiation therapy (RT) in conjunction with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy (CART) for relapsed/refractory (r/r) B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (bNHL) remains unclear. This study documented the RT local control rate among patients who received bridging radiation therapy (BRT) before CART and compares it with those who received salvage radiation therapy (SRT) after CART. This article further reports on a promising way to use SRT for post-CART disease and identifies predictors for RT in-field recurrence.
