Background: Endoscopic treatment of ureteral strictures provides a minimally invasive approach with a shorter hospital stay and less postoperative pain. There are different therapeutic options, the dilatation balloon and endoureterotomy with holmium yttrium-aluminum-garnet (Ho:YAG) laser are the most used.
