Introduction: A narrow duplicated internal auditory canal (IAC) is an extremely rare anomaly, likely associated with congenital sensorineural hearing loss due to aplasia/hypoplasia of the vestibulocochlear nerve or the cochlear branch alone. We aimed to review our experience with IAC duplication, describe its clinical characteristics, and present a literature review.
Case Presentation: Our Otology database was searched for children who showed duplication of the IAC.
Objectives: To determine whether distance from a cochlear implant (CI) center can influences the ages of presentation and intervention for CI, which thus may influence CI outcomes in Saudi Arabia.
Methods: This study comprised a retrospective cross-sectional analysis of 221 patients who presented to the CI committee between March 2016 and March 2018 at King Abdullah Ear Specialist Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Through phone interviews and patients' files, age at suspicion, audiology testing, diagnosis, hearing aid fitting, and CI discussion were recorded for prelingually deaf children; additionally, demographic information were recorded.

The endoscope allows for better inspection for cholesteatoma in cases with chronic otitis media, better access to selective epitympanic poor ventilation and secondary selective chronic otitis media, better visualization of anterior poor ventilation of the mesotympanum (reestablishing adequate ventilation to the mesotympanum), better visualization and reconstruction of anterior tympanic membrane perforations, allows use of Sheehy's lateral graft tympanoplasty through a transcanal approach, and increases the odds of preoperative detection of ossicular chain disruption associated with perforations.

Methods: This prospective study was performed from February 2008 to February 2009, patients with COM presented to the Otology Clinic, King Abdul-Aziz University Hospital, Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were examined with a rigid ear endoscope to visualize the stapedius tendon and the head of stapes. The reflex is elicited by pulsed sound stimuli.
The aim of the present study was to evaluate the results of using stapedectomy to treat tympanosclerosis fixation of the footplate. A retrospective review of tympanosclerosis of the oval window with stapes fixation, after undergoing surgery. Eight patients underwent stapedectomy for tympanosclerotic stapes.
