The results of experimental studies in the manufacture of components of the supporting structure of the first wall panel, carried out as part of the manufacture of a model of the International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER) using laser welding technology, are presented. The influence of laser welding modes on the quality of formation, microstructure characteristics, and mechanical properties of a welded joint made of 10 mm thick 316L steel was studied. A coaxial nozzle was designed and manufactured to protect the weld pool with a curved trajectory.

This study introduces a model selection technique based on Bayesian information criteria for estimating the number of components in a mixture during Diffusion-Ordered Spectroscopy (DOSY) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) data analysis. As the accuracy of this technique is dependent on the efficiency of parameter estimators, we further investigate the performance of the Weighted Least Squares (WLS) and Maximum a Posteriori (MAP) estimators. The WLS method, enhanced with meticulously tuned L2-regularization, effectively detects components when the difference in self-diffusion coefficients is more than two-fold, especially when the component with the smaller coefficient has a larger weight ratio.

The opinion article is devoted to the analysis of a large-scale comprehensive systematic review of relevant and practically oriented studies of vortioxetine use in depression for the period to 2020. The mechanisms of multimodal action, issues of efficacy and safety of the drug, including direct procognitive effects, effects on anhedonia, anxiety, sleep disorders, analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects are highlighted. An increase in the prevalence of autosomal recessive deafness 1A (DFNB1A) in populations of European descent was shown to be promoted by assortative marriages among deaf people. The results of experimental studies of repair of the supporting structure components made of 316L steel multi-pass laser cladding with filler wire are presented. The influence of the wobbling mode parameters, welding speed, and laser power on the formation of the deposited metal during multi-pass laser cladding with filler wire of 316L steel samples into a narrow slot groove, 6 mm deep and 3 mm wide, are shown. CuO is the only known binary multiferroic compound, and due to its high transition temperature into the multiferroic state, it has been extensively studied. In comparison to other prototype multiferroics, the nature and even the existence of the high-temperature incommensurate paraelectric phase (AF3) were strongly debated-both experimentally and theoretically-since it is stable for only a few tenths of a kelvin just below the Néel temperature.
