We use data from two cross-sectional waves of over 20,000 YP aged 5-19 in February 2022, during the peak of the Omicron wave, and October 2022, during a reduction in infections and easing of restrictions. COVID illness/death in the family's social network, current lockdown stringency, and significant change in household income were examined in relation to adult respondents' reports of YP internalizing symptoms.

The purpose of this report is to introduce and discuss the fabrication of a customized brachytherapy applicator for a case of well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) of the oral commissures using a radiotherapy thermoplastic mold (RTM). The RTM was molded into the shape of tongs and two acrylic wings were attached to these customized tongs to secure five high-dose radiotherapy catheter tubes.

Objective: To develop a framework and index for measuring universal health coverage (UHC) at the district level in India and to assess progress towards UHC in the districts.
Methods: We adapted the framework of the World Health Organization and World Bank to develop a district-level UHC index (UHC ). We used routinely collected health survey and programme data in India to calculate UHC for 687 districts from geometric means of 24 tracer indicators in five tracer domains: reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health; infectious diseases; noncommunicable diseases; service capacity and access; and financial risk protection.
Chronic liver disease and cancer are global health challenges. The role of the circadian clock as a regulator of liver physiology and disease is well established in rodents, however, the identity and epigenetic regulation of rhythmically expressed genes in human disease is less well studied. Design, Setting, And Participants: The IMPACT (Initiate and Maintain Physical Activity in Communities Trial) study was a controlled randomized clinical trial (randomization occurred from October 2016 to April 2019) that included a 6-month, structured exercise intervention either once or thrice weekly vs usual care (UC; advice only).
The influence of various silyl protecting groups on 2-deoxyrhamnosylation using 2-deoxyrhamnosyl acetates, thioglycosides, and (-methoxyphenyl)vinylbenzoate (PMPVB) donors has been presented. -Glycosylation reactions reveal that -butyldimethylsilyl (TBDMS), triisopropylsilyl (TIPS), and -butyldiphenylsilyl (TBDPS) silyl protected rhamnosyl oxocarbenium ions have no facial selectivity except for the conformationally () locked tetraisopropyldisiloxane (TIPDS) protected rhamnose donor, which provides complete α-selectivity. However, TBDPS protected rhamnosyl donors are found to be superior protecting groups for α-stereoselective -glycosylation reactions with various acceptors.
