- Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears are common sports injuries, and this systematic review compares two surgical techniques for ACL reconstruction: double bundle (DB) and single bundle (SB).
- The analysis included 34 randomized controlled trials with nearly 3,000 participants and assessed knee stability and functional outcomes using various tests and scores.
- Results indicated that DB reconstruction outperformed SB in short-term knee stability; however, both techniques demonstrated similar performance in mid-term and long-term outcomes.
