Introduction: Endothelial dysfunction is an early marker of atherosclerosis. Flow-mediated dilation (FMD), measured by ultrasonography, is used to noninvasively assess endothelial dysfunction. Preparations of curcumin, a naturally occurring pigment found in turmeric, may improve FMD and thus endothelial dysfunction.

In the past, there was inhibition to treat CFA-ASD endovascularly with stents due to fear of stent fracture and compromise of future vascular access site. Introduction: Coronary artery bypass grafts are prone to accelerated atherosclerosis and as such graft stenosis is frequently encountered in clinical practice. Complications specific to graft- PCI include no-reflow, distal embolization, stent restenosis and thrombosis. Graft perforation during PCI is a rare coomplication of the procedure.
