A cost effective method for the preparation of sodium fluoride [F]NaF for PET-CT imaging by using an in-house designed module.

We report the development of a manual module for the preparation of [F]NaF for metastatic bone cancer imaging. By using this simple module, [F]NaF production can be carried out inexpensively without using commercially available kits. The module can be used for making [F]NaF from freshly irradiated HO water or with left over activity in the target after [F]FDG production.

Antidiabetic and Antioxidant Potentials of Amaranthus hybridus in Streptozotocin-Induced Diabetic Rats.

Context: Amaranthus hybridus (Amaranthaceae) has been used as a folk medicine in southern parts of India for the treatment of diabetes.

Objective: This research evaluates the antidiabetic and antioxidant effects of Amaranthus hybridus ethanol leaf extract (AHELE) in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.

Methods: Blood glucose levels of diabetic rats were measured on days 1, 4, 7, and 15 after oral administration of AHELE at doses of 200 and 400 mg/kg for 14 days.

Diagnostic Value of 68Ga PSMA-11 PET/CT Imaging of Brain Tumors-Preliminary Analysis.

Objective: To evaluate the feasibility of using Ga PSMA-11 PET/CT for imaging brain lesions and its comparison with F-FDG.

Methods: Ten patients with brain lesions were included in the study. Five patients were treated cases of glioblastoma with suspected recurrence.
