Objective: Patients with advanced chronic kidney disease (CKD) or kidney failure receiving replacement therapy (KFRT) are highly vulnerable to COVID-19 infection, morbidity and mortality. Vaccination is effective, but access differs around the world. We aimed to ascertain the availability, readiness and prioritisation of COVID-19 vaccines for this group of patients globally.

We report a case of life-threatening rhabdomyolysis associated with the co-administration of atorvastatin and sacubitril/valsartan.
Case Summary: A 58-year-old male with coronary heart disease and chronic HF treated with the optimal dose of atorvastatin and other cardiovascular medications was frequently admitted for acute decompensation of HF.
Background: The attitudes of the health care workers (HCWs) are essential in influencing organ donation rate. The aim of this study was to assess the effects of an educational intervention on attitudes toward organ donation among HCWs.
Methods: A questionnaire-based interventional study was conducted with 458 HCW from 5 hospitals in Malaysia.

Aims: To compare the efficacy of Gaviscon Advance (Reckitt Benckiser, UK) and a non-alginate antacid in post-supper suppression of the acid pocket and post-prandial reflux among obese participants.
We report a case of a 34-year-old lady with past history of asthma and pulmonary tuberculosis, who presented 5 weeks pregnant with acute dyspnea. Her chest X-ray showed left-sided complete lung collapse and concomitant right-sided pneumothorax. The pneumothorax was initially managed conservatively with a chest tube but due to its persistence despite suction, was subsequently changed to a Pneumostat(TM), with which she was later discharged.
