Objective: This study was designed to assess the effects of a combination of and oil on disturbed lipid profiles in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM).
Methods: This randomized control trial (RCT) involved 160 patients of either sex (aged 40-60 years) with T2DM and dyslipidemia, and were equally divided into two groups. Group A patients received hypoglycemic and lipid lowering agents (Tab glimepiride 2 mg + metformin HCl 500 mg and Tab rosuvastatin 10 mg once a day orally).
Objectives: The current study aims to evaluate the combined antiepileptic effects of pregabalin (PGB) and nimodipine (NMD) in an acute seizure model of epilepsy in mice.
Materials And Methods: This study assessed the combined antiepileptic effects of PGB with NMD on death protection in mice. Pentylenetetrazole was used to induce seizures.
Objectives: In recent times, the use of natural remedies, which are rich in varieties of vitamins and flavonoids, for treatment of inflammation has increased substantially. These natural remedies are expected to be safe and economical when compared with other conventional allopathic drugs. Thus, existing research investigated the anti-inflammatory effect of fruit (NNF), in view of estimating its traditional and pharmacologic use against disorders associated with pain and inflammation.

The herbal agents rich in flavonoids are progressively becoming popular these days as they are considered to have anti-oxidant effects and also lack bothersome effects. That's why existing research was encircled around the anti-coagulant effect of Nelumbo nucifera fruit (NNF) as it is also a rich source of flavonoids and cultivated in abundance especially in tropical regions of Asia but its usefulness as anti-coagulant agent was never determined pharmacologically. Anticoagulant assessment was done in thirty five male Wister rats which were separated equally in 5 groups.

Thus extensive studies are necessary to investigate the pharmacological effects of herbal plants. The goal of the present study was to ascertain the outcome of Nelumbo nucifera fruit (NNF) on scopolamine induced amnestic rats along with motor coordination in mice in order to explore its pharmacological use in disorders like Alzheimer's disease (AD).
