Purpose: Vestibular neuritis (VN) is a common cause of vertigo with significant impact on patients' quality of life. This study aimed to analyze global research trends in VN using bibliometric methods to identify key themes, influential authors, institutions, and countries contributing to the field.
Methods: We conducted a comprehensive search of the Web of Science Core Collection database for publications related to VN from 1980 to 2024.
Aim: This study aims to assess the clinicopathological and prognostic significance of Tim-3, an immune checkpoint molecule, and Rel-B, an NF-κB subunit, in grade 4 diffuse glioma samples and their relationship with each other.
Material And Methods: The demographic, radiologic, prognostic, and treatment data of patients diagnosed with grade 4 diffuse glioma between 2016 and 2019 were reviewed and recorded. Tim-3 and Rel-B were applied to the paraffin-embedded tissues by immunohistochemistry method.
Tulip poplar () is a member of the Magnolia family, is a large, fast-growing, long-lived, deciduous tree native to eastern North America. One-year-old tulip poplar seedlings grown under field conditions in a commercial nursery in Warren County, Tennessee, exhibited severe root rot in May 2024. Dark brown to black lesions were observed on the affected roots.

In this study, the literature related to the subject was searched using the keywords Immersive Journalism, 360-Degree Video, Narrative journalism, Newsgame, VR Storytelling through the Web of Science database and a data set was created from 955 publications between 1999 and 2023. No filter was applied to the studies in the data set of the study and articles, books, and early access publications as well as book chapters, editorial materials or conference proceedings in the Web of Science database were included in the study.

Background: The hemoglobin, albumin, lymphocyte, and platelet (HALP) score could be a prognostic biomarker in patients with cancer as a reflector of nutritional and inflammatory status, although the data is limited in patients treated with immune-checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs). Therefore, we sought to investigate the relationship between HALP score and survival in ICI-treated patients.
Methods: We included adult patients with advanced cancer treated with ICIs between June 2016 and January 2024.
Swamp white oak () is a North American species of medium-sized trees in the beech family. One-year-old swamp white oak seedlings grown in field conditions in a commercial nursery in Warren County, Tennessee exhibited severe root rot in July 2024. Dark brown lesions were observed in the affected roots (Fig.

Trabectedin is an effective agent that can be used after anthracyclines. This study was designed to evaluate the real-life effectiveness and safety of trabectedin.

Methods: We retrospectively analyzed 45 patients with advanced epithelial ovarian cancer between 2010 and 2018, who had received at least three cycles of NACT. PD-L1 expression and CD8 + TIL levels were evaluated by immunohistochemical staining in the pre-NAC tumor samples from which the patients had been diagnosed.
IKKα is a multifunctional serine/threonine kinase that controls various biological processes, either dependent on or independent of its kinase activity. However, the importance of the kinase function of IKKα in human physiology remains unknown since no biallelic variants disrupting its kinase activity have been reported. In this study, we present a homozygous germline missense variant in the kinase domain of IKKα, which is present in three children from two Turkish families.

Background: Despite initial dramatic responses, metastatic small cell lung cancer (SCLC) invariably recurs. Irinotecan is one of the active agents for patients with recurrent SCLC. In the second line, weekly or three-weekly irinotecan regimens have been adopted, however, the optimal dose and schedule is not defined.

In this study, we evaluated the capacity of surgical applications and treatments made to the surgery department in the first 3 months of the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. A retrospective cohort study was performed from March 12, 2020 to June 1, 2020.

This research article will employ the combined Lyapunov functionals method to deal with stability analysis of a more general type of Cohen-Grossberg neural networks which simultaneously involve constant time and neutral delay parameters. By utilizing some combinations of various Lyapunov functionals, we determine novel criteria ensuring global stability of such a model of neural systems that employ Lipschitz continuous activation functions. These proposed results are totally stated independently of delay terms and they can be completely characterized by the constants parameters involved in the neural system.

Methods: Patients diagnosed with childhood-onset SLE who fulfilled the 1997 American College of Rheumatology classification criteria for SLE from four reference centers in Turkey and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the United States were included in this study. A comparative analysis was conducted to evaluate the similarities and differences in clinical and laboratory features, damage accrual, and treatment experiences between the two populations.

Background: Major histocompatibility complex class II deficiency, a combined immunodeficiency, results from loss of HLA class II expression on antigen-presenting cells. Currently, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation stands as the sole curative approach, although factors influencing patient outcomes remain insufficiently explored.
Objectives: To elucidate the clinical, immunologic, and genetic profiles associated with MHC-II deficiency and identify prognostic indicators that affect survival rates.
