Objectives: Acrodermatitis dysmetabolica (AD) is a dermatologic manifestation associated with inherited metabolic disorders (IMDs), distinct from acrodermatitis enteropathica, which occurs solely due to zinc deficiency.
Case Presentation: This report presents two pediatric cases: a 30-month-old girl with maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) experiencing AD secondary to severe isoleucine deficiency due to a protein-restricted diet, showing improvement with dietary adjustments, and a 2.5-month-old boy infant with propionic acidemia (PA) who developed AD alongside septic shock, which progressed despite intervention.

Introduction: Alzheimer's disease is a chronic brain disease that includes memory and language disorders. This disease, which is considered the most common cause of dementia worldwide, accounts for 60-80% of all dementia cases. Recent studies suggest that the cerebellum may play a role in cognitive functions as well as motor functions.

The pretrial set-up is confluent on different pillars, including evaluation of 1) European activity, trends, and governance; 2) outcome reporting; and 3) cost evaluation. This article aimed to demonstrate the observational cross-sectional survey results from participating centers and highlight the risk assessment, activity, practices, and governance of uncomplicated type B aortic dissection (uTBAD).

With the growing popularity of these platforms, individuals increasingly turn to them for accessible health information, yet questions remain regarding the accuracy and reliability of such content. Given that colon cancer is a prevalent and serious condition, trustworthy information is essential to support patient education, facilitate informed decision-making, and potentially improve patient outcomes.

Lipases are one of the most frequently applied enzymes in food. The current study investigated the potential of utilizing selected agri-food and waste materials-buckwheat husks, pea hulls, loofah sponges, and yerba mate waste-as carriers for the immobilization of Sustine 121 lipase and yeast biomass as whole-cell biocatalyst and lipase sources.

Materials And Methods: The data of 690 gynecological cancer were retrospectively examined, and 223 patients who met the inclusion criteria were included in the study. The patients were divided into two groups: Group G (123 patients who received general anesthesia only) and Group C (100 patients who received combined epidural and general anesthesia.
Disasters are complex global problems with increasing impact with rising prevalence of associated illness, mortality, and intensifying health inequities. In recent years, there has been an emphasis on integrating trauma-informed care approaches into health policies and protocols. The purpose of the current study was to investigate the benefits of a trauma-informed healthcare training program for hospital-based healthcare providers with a focus on knowledge acquisition, empowerment of professional practice, and personal well-being.

Despite its multifactorial etiology, the role of the tibialis anterior tendon in hallux valgus and its variations in the morphology of tibialis anterior tendon distal insertion sites have not been fully explored. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of such variations on hallux valgus using magnetic resonance imaging.

This study aimed to investigate language and some attention and memory skills in children with bilateral sequential and simultaneous cochlear implants.
Method: The study included a total of 40 children aged between 6 and 8 years old, grouping bilateral simultaneous cochlear implanted children, sequential implanted children with 0-2 years interval, sequential implanted children with 2-4 years interval, and normal hearing peers.
Objective: The study aimed to investigate the effect of Transcranial Direct Current Stimulation combined with cervical stabilization exercises on functional status, cognitive functions, and sleep quality in individuals with chronic neck pain.
Materials And Methods: The study involved 29 individuals (mean age 33.06 ± 14.
BCR::ABL1-negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPNs) pose a substantial risk of thrombosis, leading to significant morbidity and mortality. Anticoagulant therapy, historically based on vitamin K antagonists (VKAs), has limitations in preventing recurrent thrombotic events and managing bleeding complications. Direct oral anticoagulants (DOACs) offer a potential alternative with improved pharmacokinetics and compliance.

Background/aim: Although it has been reported that different molecules are effective in preventing ischemia-reperfusion (I/R) injury, the most effective treatment is still unknown.
Materials And Methods: The rats were divided into four groups of eight rats each. Group C: 1 ml intraperitoneal (IP) isotonic + laparotomy + IP 2 ml isotonic +I/R.
Aim: To investigate changes in nitric oxide (NO) levels, oxidative stress, and dynamic thiol/disulphide homeostasis in the serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of patients with aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhages (aSAH).
Material And Methods: This prospective study included a total of 40 consecutive patients suffering from aSAH, who were operated on within the first 48 hours from onset of symptoms; CSF and blood samples were collected from these patients during their operations. To create a control group, blood samples and cerebrospinal fluid were taken from patients (n=40) without neurologic disorders who had undergone lumbar puncture for spinal anesthesia.
Aim: To retrospectively evaluate the cranial magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) features and determine the incidence of intracranial arachnoid cysts (ACs) based on sex, age, location, size, affected side, Galassi type, and their association with hydrocephalus, mega cisterna magna (MCM), bone erosion, and midline brain shift in 15,108 patients during outpatient headache evaluations.
Material And Methods: Between 2012 and 2022, cranial MRI scans of 15,108 adult patients aged 20-70 years undergoing outpatient evaluations for headaches were retrospectively reviewed to analyze the features of ACs detected incidentally. Patients who had previously undergone a craniotomy or craniectomy were excluded from the study.

The aim of this study was to perform the cultural adaptation and investigate the validity and reliability of the Turkish version of the NSAA (T-NSAA) in DMD.
Methods: After translation process, internal consistency, interrater and test-retest reliability of the NSAA were determined by using the Cronbach Alpha Coefficient and Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC), respectively.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate how Wii Fit exercises affect muscle strength and fear of falling in older adults with Alzheimer's disease.
Method: The study included a total of 32 volunteers with Alzheimer's disease, aged 65-80 years. These participants were divided into two groups: the exercise group and the control group.
