Objective: To investigate the association between red cell distribution width (RDW) and the RDW to platelet count ratio (RPR) and cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and to further investigate whether the association involves population differences and dose-response relationships.
Design: Cross-sectional population-based study.
Setting: The National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (1999-2020).
Objective: Previous research has linked single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the gene to an increased risk of developing ischemic cardiomyopathy (ICM); however, a diagnostic model of ICM according to the variant has not yet been developed. Therefore, this study aimed to explore the correlation between SNPs in and the presence of ICM, along with developing a diagnostic model for ICM based on the variants of the gene.
Method: This study recruited a total of 252 patients with ICM and 280 healthy controls.
