[Relation between chronic microaspiration and gastroesophageal reflux in children with respiratory pathology].

To establish the interrelation between chronic microaspiration and the gastroesophageal reflux, a study was made of the bronchoalveolar lavage fluid in which alveolar macrophages containing lipids were estimated. Altogether 81 children aged 1.5 to 14 years with respiratory pathology were examined.
