This study investigated the effects of storage conditions on the quality of chilled ram semen stored at 4°C for 48 h, comparing aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Ejaculates from INRA180 rams were collected and stored under both conditions, with assessments at 0-, 24-, and 48-h intervals. Various sperm parameters were examined, including motility, velocity, viability, morphology, membrane integrity, and lipid peroxidation.

The semen was collected from five mature INRA180 rams (2-3 years of age) during one year (from April 2014 to March 2015). Scrotal circumferences, semen characteristics, some biochemical parameters of seminal plasma were evaluated.
