To target the active state of RAS (RAS(ON)) directly, we have employed an innovative tri-complex inhibitor (TCI) modality involving formation of a complex with an inhibitor, the intracellular chaperone protein CypA, and the target protein KRAS in its GTP-bound form. The resulting tri-complex inhibits oncogenic signaling, inducing tumor regressions across various preclinical models of KRAS mutant human cancers.

Here we report a new strategy for OELGs based on bipolar photoconduction intrinsic to ferroelectric materials, simplifying the device configuration considerably while enabling multiple logic operations. We demonstrate this concept in two-dimensional (2D) ferroelectric CuInPS (CIPS), taking advantage of the fact that its polarization switching is intimately coupled with Cu cation migration, and thus can be deterministically driven by both above- and below-bandgap illumination via the photothermal effect.

Patient Concerns: The present study encompasses a case of pediatric Burkitt lymphoma wherein acute abdominal pain manifested as the initial symptom, erroneously diagnosed as acute appendicitis.
This study evaluated hybrid iterative reconstruction in ultra-low-dose computed tomography (ULDCT) for solid pulmonary nodule detection. A 256-slice CT machine operating at 120 kVp imaged a chest phantom with 5 mm nodules. The imaging process involved adjusting low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) settings and conducting 3 ULDCT scans (A-C) with varied minimum and maximum mA settings (10/40 mA).

Methods: We retrospectively reviewed seven patients who underwent surgical treatment for intracardiac leiomyomatosis between May 2016 and November 2021.
Methane microseepage from oil and gas fields significantly contributes to atmospheric methane level, making it a critical factor in global climate change. Therefore, accurate monitoring of surface flux and investigating migration mechanism are pivotal to evaluating and mitigating the impact of methane microseepage. In this study, methane microseepage from natural gas reservoirs in a mild climate was investigated, using Xinchang gas field as a case study.

However, the efficacy and safety differences compared to the first approved biologic, dupilumab, remain unclear. Therefore, a network meta-analysis was conducted to evaluate these differences and identify potentially superior agents.

Nevertheless, skepticism surrounds the effectiveness of MOOC due to their notably low completion rates. To explore the outcomes of MOOC adoption in higher education and improve its application efficiency, this study compares MOOC with traditional course in terms of mean score and pass rate.

Since routing policies directly influence data transmission paths, routing optimization serves as an effective strategy for improving network performance by mitigating transmission risks and threats. This paper introduces an Intelligent Tuning Method for Service Scheduling in Electric Power Communication Networks Based on Operational Risk and Quality of Service (QoS) Guarantee.

To address this critical health challenge, researchers have developed computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) systems that rely on feature extraction from medical images. However, accurately identifying the most informative image features for lung cancer detection remains a significant challenge.

Here, we showed that pathological factors, including neuronal degeneration caused by seizures, caspase-3-induced neuronal apoptosis, neuronal debris, and β-amyloid, induced "on-demand" GPNMB expression in hippocampal microglia. Genetic ablation of GPNMB did not affect acute seizures but worsened chronic epileptogenesis.
