Leaf senescence is a major concern for postharvest leafy vegetables, as leaves are highly prone to yellowing and nutrient loss, resulting in reduced commercial value and limited shelf-life. This study aimed to investigate the effect of L-cysteine (L-cys) on postharvest Chinese flowering cabbage stored at 20 °C. The results showed that 0.

Results: This study developed a versatile and innovative single-particle surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) sensing platform for the precise and sensitive quantification of IL-6 in complex samples using a novel one-pot synthesized, silver ions-doped three-dimensional porous gold microparticles (PGMs) with abundant hot spots for robust SERS enhancement. By rationally designing rich cytosine-Ag-cytosine base pairs between IL-6 aptamers and complementary chains on the PGMs, we harnessed the SERS-enhancing effect to achieve highly sensitive and specific IL-6 quantification within a wide range of 10 to 10 mg/mL and a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.
(L.) Moench is the fifth most important cereal crop and expected to gain prominence due to its versatility, low input requirements, and tolerance to hot and dry conditions. In warm and humid environments the productivity of sorghum is severely limited by the hemibiotrophic fungal pathogen , the causal agent of anthracnose.

Background: Extracellular vesicles (EVs) and extruded nanovesicles (ENVs) are promising nanovesicles (NVs) for drug delivery. However, the application of these NVs is strongly hindered by their short half-life in the circulation. Macrophages (Mφs) in the liver and spleen contribute to the rapid depletion of NVs, but the underlying mechanism is unclear.

Its major risk factors include smoking, alcohol abuse, aging, and poor oral hygiene. Due to the lack of early and effective detection and screening methods, many patients are diagnosed at advanced stages with a five-year survival rate of less than 50%.

Ninjurin-2 (NINJ2) is a close paralog of NINJ1 but cannot mediate PMR. Using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM), we show that NINJ1 and NINJ2 both assemble into linear filaments that are hydrophobic on one side but hydrophilic on the other.

Compared with control, MAP treatment retained higher content of protein, total soluble solid, and vitamin C, while lower weight loss rate, carbon dioxide (CO) production rate, electrolyte leakage, firmness and hollowing of stems. Lignin content in MAP-treated stems was 1.

However, diabetic foot ulcer is often accompanied by decreased muscle function, even resulting in muscle atrophy. During wound repair, monitoring muscle function at the wound site in real time can identify the decreased muscle strength timely, which is crucial for precise wound rehabilitation.

Methods: Gene expression profiles were retrieved from the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) database to identify differentially expressed immune-related genes (IRG-DEGs). We employed five machine learning algorithms-LASSO, random forest (RF), boosted regression trees (BRT), XGBoost, and support vector machine recursive feature elimination (SVM-RFE) to identify biomarkers derived from IRG-DEGs associated with the diagnosis of PAH, incorporating them into the IRG-DEGs panel.
Constructing organic fluorophosphines, vital drug skeletons, through the direct fluorination of readily available alkyl phosphonates has been impeded due to the intrinsic low electrophilicity of P and the high bond energy of P═O bond. Here, alkyl phosphonates are electrophilically activated with triflic anhydride and N-heteroaromatic bases, enabling nucleophilic fluorination at room temperature to form fluorophosphines via reactive phosphine intermediates. This approach facilitates the late-stage (radio)fluorination of broad dialkyl and monoalkyl phosphonates.

Ultrathin epidermal electrodes with high performance are ideal for constructing imperceptive EP sensing systems; however, the lack of a simple and scalable fabrication delays their application in MF recognition. Here, we report a facile, scalable printing-welding-transferring strategy (PWT) for printing μm-thickness micropatterned silver nanowires (AgNWs)/sticky polydimethylsiloxane, welding the AgNWs via plasmonic effect, and transferring the electrode to skin as tattoos.

Methods: In this study, qRT-PCR and western blotting were used to determine the expression of circ_0001068, microRNA-149-5p (miR-149-5p) and domain containing ion transport regulator 5 (FXYD5).
We report a yolk-shelled anode material with an MoS/C core, large inner void and C@MoS shell (MoS/C@Void@C@MoS). This design could accelerate Na/K reaction kinetics and endure volume changes. Based on the kinetics analysis and calculations based on density functional theory, this structure could effectively enhance the high-rate sodium/potassium storage capability.

Sulfur dioxide (SO) is a widely recognized preservative for extending grape storage life. This study performed a detailed analysis of 'Munage' table grapes treated with SO fumigation, employing transcriptomic and metabolomic approaches.

Materials And Methods: Single crowns were fabricated from zirconia using DLP technology. The crowns were manufactured with three different representative build angles (0°, 45°, and 90°) and two different layer thicknesses (30 μm and 50 μm).
The low-cost daily monitoring of C-reactive protein (CRP) levels is crucial for screening acute inflammation or infections as well as managing chronic inflammatory diseases. In this study, we synthesized novel 2-Methacryloyloxy ethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC)-based biomimetic nanoparticles with a large surface area to develop a visual CRP-quantification assay using affordable glass capillaries. The PMPC nanoparticles, synthesized via reflux precipitation polymerization, demonstrated multivalent binding capabilities, enabling rapid and specific CRP capture.

In the tumor microenvironment, negative regulatory molecules and various immune cell subtypes suppress antitumor immunity. The inflammatory microenvironment, associated with neutrophils and neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), promotes tumor metastasis.

Here, we theoretically demonstrate that both cascade enhancement and high collection efficiency of emitted photons from a single emitter can be achieved simultaneously in a topological photonic crystal containing a resonant dielectric nanodisk. The nanodisk excited by a magnetic emitter can be regarded as a large equivalent magnetic dipole.
