Coincidence of Concha Bullosa with Nasal Septal Deviation; Radiological Study.

Concha bullosa (CB) is the most common sinonasal anatomical variation reported in literature, it occurs most often in the middle turbinate. Causes of development are not clearly identified but coincident prevalence with deviated nasal septum (DS) is common. To study the relationship between DS and development of CB A prospective study including 40 patients with DS, CT scans were thoroughly analyzed to detect the presence of CB, its type, and laterality.

Coblation Versus Conventional Tonsillectomy: A Double Blind Randomized Controlled Trial.

Post tonsillectomy bleeding and pain are two main problems following traditional tonsillectomy. Coblation therapy (controlled ablation) was first used in tonsillectomy in 2001. A great amount of literature debated around its use with controversial opinions regarding its benefits, efficacy, and cost.

Periosteal Graft Myringoplasty: Our Experience.

 Different types of autologous graft materials are used for myringoplasty, with the temporalis fascia and cartilage being the most frequently used tissues. Periosteal tissue has been used for a long time in our department, and many advantages support its use in myringoplasty. To the best of our knowledge, this issue is scarcely discussed in the previously published literature.

ENT Foreign Bodies: An Experience.

 Ear, nose and throat (ENT) foreign bodies (FBs) are common occurrences, particularly among children. The proper recognition, study, and management of FBs are required to prevent complications.
