Purpose: To evaluate the serum asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) level as a biomarker for uveitis in Behçet's Disease (BD).
Methods: In this cross-sectional study, two groups of BD patients were examined: 33 with uveitis and 27 without uveitis. All patients were clinically evaluated, with disease activity measured by Behçet's Disease Current Activity Form (BDCAF) score.
OPG/RANK/RANKL axis was reportedly involved in initiating various diseases, especially bone and cardiovascular diseases. This study aimed to assess the relationship between some OPG, RANK, and RANKL polymorphisms and alleles and iron-overload-induced cardiomyopathy in children with transfusion-dependent thalassemia (TDT). This study included 80 TDT children and 80 age and sex-matched controls.

Methods: 40 children with p-SLE were grouped according to SLEDAI into: low activity SLE group (laSLE) and moderate-high activity SLE group (mhaSLE). 40 healthy children were included as control group.
Background: RANK/RANKL/OPG axis was implicated in many pathological conditions. The study aimed to assess the relationship between the studied RANK, RANKL, and OPG polymorphisms and alleles and cognitive impairment in children with transfusion-dependent thalassemia (TDT).
Methods: This study included 60 TDT children.
