Background: The circumflex scapular artery (CSA) flap system, consisting of scapular, parascapular, and chimeric flaps, is useful for pediatric reconstruction in many anatomical locations. Background:  Autoimmune diseases are associated with characteristic chronic inflammation, aberrations in tissue perfusion, and hypercoagulability, and thus have considerable implications for local and free-flap reconstruction.
