This study aims to compare the efficacy and safety of 3 different hemostatic agents in vascular surgeries in humans. Twenty-four patients were enrolled in the present study with 40 vascular anastomoses including 16 aortic and 24 femoral. The patients were randomized (computer-based) to either BloodSTOP iX, Gelfoam, or Surgicel.

Objective: Chronic pelvic pain in women is a disorder brought on by pelvic vein incompetence (PVI). In this prospective, randomized study, the effects of percutaneous coil embolization and surgical ovarian vein ligation and division combined with retrograde sclerotherapy were compared with regard to ovarian vein occlusion, improvement of pelvic congestion symptoms, and their influence on estradiol level after intervention.
Methods: A total of 50 patients with PVI were enrolled, with a mean age of 31.
Internal jugular phlebectasia is a rare entity in which there is a fusiform dilatation of the internal jugular vein (IJV), usually presenting as a neck mass or tinnitus. The jugular bulb (JB) is an enlarged confluence connecting the sigmoid sinus and the IJV. It has been suggested that JB abnormality might also cause vertigo and pulsatile tinnitus.

Many will be asymptomatic, some could develop severe pulmonary hypertension, and others can develop Eisenmenger syndrome. We have presented a case in which a PDA correction device was embolized to the abdominal aorta, 2 months after transcatheter closure of a large PDA.

There is a growing cohort of patients that require long-term hemodialysis without adequate preparation. Temporary dialysis catheters and rapid access arteriovenous grafts (AVG) are far from being an ideal solution in this scenario.

This issue was addressed by very few randomized controlled studies. This topic has recently re-emerged with the advent of the endovascular fistula creation using the side-to-side technique.

Objective: This study was conducted to investigate the effect of balloon angioplasty on patients with Buerger's disease compared to medical treatment.
Objective: Endovascular treatment of peripheral artery aneurysms (PAAs) in patients with Behçet disease is controversial. We report a single-institution experience of primary stent graft repair of PAAs in Behçet patients.
Methods: Behçet patients who had endovascular stent graft repair of PAAs at a single center between January 2012 and December 2018 were identified.
Background: Although endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy (ETS) offers permanent cure of palmar hyperhidrosis (PH), compensatory hyperhidrosis (CH) often complicates the procedure. We analyzed the outcomes of a 2-month interval for unilateral sequential ETS (S-ETS) in comparison with simultaneous bilateral ETS (B-ETS), notably regarding CH and associated plantar hyperhidrosis, in treating patients with PH.
Patients And Methods: Four hundred seven patients with intractable PH were randomly assigned into two groups: the B-ETS group (204 patients) and the S-ETS group (203 patients).
