A reliable high-performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method which allows the determination in human urine of two important metabolites of N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF), namely N-methylformamide (MMF) and N-methyl-N-(hydroxymethyl)formamide (DMFOH), is reported.
