Purpose: The purpose of this study was to describe the clinical outcome of scleral staphyloma secondary to necrotizing scleritis treated with autologous pericranial grafting.

Case Report: A 63-year-old woman with necrotizing scleritis and choroidal protrusion underwent homologous scleral grafting, which failed. The patient's medical management was optimized for control of her systemic inflammation, and she underwent a second surgery consisting of autologous pericranium grafted to the parietal region.

Here, we determined the impact of tau pathology on AMPAR expression, density, and subcellular distribution in the hippocampus of P301S mice using immunoblot, histoblot, and quantitative SDS-digested freeze-fracture replica labeling (SDS-FRL). Plant functional traits ('traits') are essential for assessing biodiversity and ecosystem processes, but cumbersome to measure. To facilitate trait measurements, we test if traits can be predicted through visible morphological features by coupling heterogeneous photographs from citizen science (iNaturalist) with trait observations (TRY database) through Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Our results show that image features suffice to predict several traits representing the main axes of plant functioning.

Heterotrimeric guanine nucleotide-binding proteins (G proteins) transduce signals from G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs) to effector ion channels and enzymes G, a member of the pertussis toxin-sensitive G family, is widely expressed in the brain, although its role within a neuronal context remains largely unknown. Using immunohistochemical and quantitative immunoelectron microscopy techniques, we have investigated the expression, cellular and subcellular localization of G in the cerebellar cortex. Histoblot revealed that G is expressed in many brain regions, including the cerebellum.

Remote sensing optical sensors onboard operational satellites cannot have high spectral, spatial and temporal resolutions simultaneously. In addition, clouds and aerosols can adversely affect the signal contaminating the land surface observations. We present a HIghly Scalable Temporal Adaptive Reflectance Fusion Model (HISTARFM) algorithm to combine multispectral images of different sensors to reduce noise and produce monthly gap free high resolution (30 m) observations over land.
