Purpose: We assessed factors associated with clinical, social, and behavioral outcomes of adolescents and young adults with HIV (AYHIV) in Southeast Asia after transition from pediatric to adult HIV care.
Methods: AYHIV in Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam were prospectively followed through annual clinical assessments and laboratory testing. Data were described descriptively and a generalized estimating equation was used to calculate independent predictors for HIV viremia (>40 copies/mL).
Backgroud: Influenza viruses cause substantial morbidity, especially in older age groups. Thus, they are amongst high priority groups for routine vaccination. However, vaccine-induced immune responses and effectiveness were reported as relatively low.

We sought to evaluate the protective efficacy of a compressed monthly 2-day treatment course in the Royal Cambodian Armed Forces. The safety and efficacy of a monthly 2-day dosing regimen of dihydroartemisinin-piperaquine were evaluated in a two-arm, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled cohort study with 2:1 treatment allocation.
