Air pollution caused by sulphur dioxide (SO) and nitrogen oxides (NO) has negative impacts on forest health and can initiate forest dieback. Long-term monitoring and analysis of these pollution are carried out in Białowieża Forest in NE Poland due to the threats from abiotic, biotic and anthropogenic factors. The main objective of our study was to monitor the levels and trends of air pollutant deposition in Białowieża Forest.
