[Three-dimentiolanl moving-table MR angiography in diagnostic of peripheral arteria diseases].

Purpose: The aim of this study was to present the method of three-dimentional contrast-enhanced moving-table MR angiography, on the basis of own experience.

Method: The 1,5T MR system with moving-table option was used to examin pelvic and peripheral arteries of lower extremities. The body coil was used.

[Standardisation of the MRI and US images evaluation in the diagnostics of rheumatoid arthritis within the wrist and metacarpophalangeal joints].

In Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) it is very important to recognize pathologic condition and to start proper treatment as early as possible to lessen its consequences. Currently, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasonography are the best imaging modalities because they depict early stages of this disease and allows to control response to treatment. MRI depicts also bone oedema, which is a strong predictor of further progression.

[Fibrous dysplasia of the scull discovered accidently on CT from different indication].

Unlabelled: Fibrous dysplasia (dysplasia fibrosa -DF) is a local disorder of spongy bone structure caused by local pathological metabolism. Transformation of trabecular bony structure into connective tissue takes place. Inside the transformed bone scattered connective tissue elements, cartilaginous elements and pathological density are found.

[Brain MRI data in children with so called primary generalized seizures].

Introduction: Diagnosis of primary generalised seizures may be not precise because difficulties exist with the assessment of information of focal onset of these seizures.

The Aim: The aim was to examine if the careful searching for partial component of seizures is necessary in children with so called primary generalized seizures.

Material And Methods: The examined group included 45 children aged 6 month to 18 year (mean 11 year) within 19 girls and 26 boys, hospitalized during the year 2006 in the Department of Pediatric Neurology UJ CM in Krakow.
