Preparation of biocatalyst dependent on immobilized penicillin G acylase (PGA) was of substantial importance for proteomic research, organic synthesis, and industrial applications. Herein, we developed an easy method for nano-magnetic composite to immobilize PGA. FeO nano-magnetic particles were co-precipitated with Fe and Fe in an ammonia solution (NH) and treated with silicon dioxide (SiO), which was developed using the sol-gel process.

The fabricated Fe O @PDA NPs were grafted by glutaraldehyde to realize the immobilization of penicillin G acylase (PGA) under mild conditions.
