Isoniazid, a central compound in the treatment of active or latent tuberculosis, is associated with various adverse reactions, including hepatitis and polyneuropathy. The latter is due to functional pyridoxine depletion and can be avoided by appropriate doses and supplementation with pyridoxine. We present the case of a patient with several previous treatment abandonments for active pulmonary tuberculosis who evolved with late postprandial vomiting due to gastroparesis documented by nuclear medicine gastric emptying tests after a new treatment onset.

Levetiracetam (LEV) is an antiepileptic drug approved by the Chilean Institute of Public Health as concomitant therapy for epileptic seizures in children older than 4 years of age. However, it is widely prescribed from the neonatal period, which makes it necessary to evaluate its off-label use.

Aim: To characterize AE associated with antimicrobial compounds.
Patients And Methods: Retrospective analysis of AEs reported to the National Pharmacological Surveillance System from 2014 to 2017 in a regional hospital.
Background: Assessment of causality is an essential part of pharmacological surveillance.
Aim: To compare the causality assessment of suspected adverse drug reactions (ADRs) using algorithms proposed by Karch-Lasagna (K & L) and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Material And Methods: All spontaneous reports of suspected ADRs in a pediatric ward of a regional hospital were included.
