(Oyster mushroom) is an important cultivated edible mushroom across the world. It has several therapeutic effects as it contains various useful bio-molecules. The cultivation and crop management of these basidiomycete fungi depends on many extrinsic and intrinsic factors such as substrate composition, growing environment, enzymatic properties, and the genetic makeup, etc.

In this study varying degree of drought stress was imposed by restricting irrigation in red kidney bean along with application of chitosan as seed and foliar prime. LC-MS/MS was used to study the metabolic footprints (flavonoids and anthocyanin) in the red kidney bean varieties (BR 104 and VL Rajma 63).

In the presence of chlorpyrifos, carbofuran, and their mixture, laccase activity was highest on the 7th day, i.e.

The gliadin antigenicity was expressed in terms of its content in twenty different wheat cultivars. The gliadin proteins were characterized by SDS-PAGE and structural changes analyzed on FTIR spectrophotometer.

The beans grown in north-western Himalayas possess huge diversity for seed color, shape and size but are mostly susceptible to Anthracnose disease caused by seed born fungus Colletotrichum lindemuthianum.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFTransition metal catalysis has emerged as a powerful strategy to expand synthetic flexibility of protein modification. Herein, we report a cationic Ru(ii) system that enables the first example of alkyne hydrosilylation between dimethylarylsilanes and -propargyl-functionalized proteins using a substoichiometric amount or low-loading of Ru(ii) catalyst to achieve the first C-Si bond formation on full-length substrates. The reaction proceeds under physiological conditions at a rate comparable to other widely used bioorthogonal reactions.
