A stable three coordinate Cu(I)-radical complex with an S donor set having the general formula of [Cu(S-NHCH)(SS-NHCS)] (1) was isolated as dark blue needles. Fabrication of cost-effective and robust metal-based electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reactions (HER) across the entire pH range has garnered significant attention in harvesting renewable energy. Herein, the fabrication of 3D high-surface Ni Foam-Graphene-Carbon Nanotubes (NGC) decorated with phosphorous-inserted tin selenide (SnSe-P) showcases unprecedented HER activity with minimal overpotentials across all pH ranges (52 mV in acidic, 93 mV in basic, and 198 mV in neutral conditions@10 mA cm) and stability at 1 A cm for 72 h. The as-designed catalyst shows a low overpotential of 122 mV@10 mA cm in alkaline seawater, achieved through controlled electronic distribution on Sn site after incorporation of P in NGC-SnSe-P.

The heterometallic [Ag(I)/Fe(II)] molecular electrocatalysts for hydrogen production were introduced here to recognize the mutual role of metallic nuclearity and ligand engineering. A series of ferrocenyl dithiophosphonate stabilized mononuclear [Ag(PPh){SPFc(OR)}] {where R=Me (1), Et (2), Pr (3), Pr (4), Amyl (5); Fc=Fe (ɳ-CH) (ɳ-CH)} and dinuclear [Ag(PPh){SPFc(OR}] {where R=Et (2 a), and Pr (3 a)} complexes were synthesized and characterized by SCXRD, NMR (P and H), ESI-MS, UV-Vis, and FT-IR spectroscopy. The comparative electrocatalytic HER behavior of 1-5 and 2 a-3 a showed effective current density of 1 mA/cm with overpotentials ranging from 772 to 991 mV, demonstrating the influence of extended and branched carbon chains in dithiophosphonates and metallic (mono-/di-) nuclearity, which correlates with documented tetra-nuclear [Ag(SPFc(OPr)], 6.

The production of ϒ(2S) and ϒ(3S) mesons in lead-lead (Pb-Pb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions is studied in their dimuon decay channel using the CMS detector at the LHC. The ϒ(3S) meson is observed for the first time in Pb-Pb collisions, with a significance above 5 standard deviations. The ratios of yields measured in Pb-Pb and pp collisions are reported for both the ϒ(2S) and ϒ(3S) mesons, as functions of transverse momentum and Pb-Pb collision centrality.
