Developing and Mapping Entrustable Professional Activities with Saudi Meds Competency Framework: A Consensus Study.

Purpose: This study aimed at developing a national consensus on entrustable professional activities (EPAs) for Saudi undergraduate medical education and mapping them with the "Saudi Meds" competency framework.

Methods: A three phased approach was used. Phase 1 consisted of identifying and developing EPAs; Phase 2 consisted of building a national consensus on developed EPAs (validation process); and Phase 3 consisted of mapping the validated EPAs with the Saudi Meds competency framework.

Do Mock Medical Licensure Exams Improve Performance of Graduates? Experience from a Saudi Medical College.

Background: All medical graduates in Saudi Arabia are required to pass a Saudi Medical Licensure Exam (SMLE) to be able to practice and/or enroll in postgraduate training. Mock exams are a useful preparatory tool, but no study from Saudi Arabia has assessed its impact on performance in the actual licensure examinations.

Objectives: To evaluate the impact of a series of mock SMLEs with immediate personalized feedback on graduate scores and their performance in the actual SMLE.

Student Perceptions Regarding Group Learning Activities in a Hybrid Medical Curriculum.

Introduction: Problem- and team-based learning strategies have been introduced in the revised integrated curriculum of our medical college. This study aims to assess perceptions of students regarding recently introduced group learning activities into our hybrid curriculum.

Materials And Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study has used a pre-validated questionnaire to find out the perceptions of medical students studying at College of Medicine, Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU).
