Introduction: In this study, the toxicities and management of palbociclib and ribociclib in older patients (≥65 years) with metastatic breast cancer patients were investigated.
Materials And Methods: Among older patients receiving palbociclib and ribociclib, Geriatric 8 (G8) and Groningen Frailty Index were used to evaluate frailty status. Dose modifications, drug withdrawal and other serious adverse events (SAEs) were recorded and analyzed according to baseline patient characteristics.
Background: Treatment response is traditionally monitored using prostate-specific antigen (PSA) and conventional imaging in patients with metastatic prostate cancer (mPCa).
Objective: To assess the diagnostic performance of prostate-specific membrane antigen (PSMA) positron emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) when monitoring mPCa patients receiving systemic treatment and also to investigate the concordance between PSMA PET response according to the PSMA PET progression (PPP) criteria and biochemical response.
Design, Setting, And Participants: A total of 96 patients with Ga-PSMA-11 PET/CT-detected mPCa at baseline PSMA PET/CT (bPSMA) who underwent at least one follow-up scan after receiving systemic treatment were included in the study.
This multicenter registry study aims to analyze time-related changes in the treatment patterns and outcome of patients with metastatic breast cancer (MBC) over a ten-year period. Correlations between demographic, prognostic variables and survival outcomes were carried out in database aggregates consisting of cohorts based on disease presentation (recurrent vs. de novo) and the diagnosis date of MBC (Cohort I: patient diagnosed between January 2010 and December 2014; and Cohort II: between January 2015 and December 2019).

Methods: This cooperative group study included 232 NSCLC patients who underwent curative surgery for stage I disease with tumor size 2-4 cm.
Expression of -glycolyl GM3 (NeuGcGM3) ganglioside was detected in the tumor specimens of patients who were on Racotumomab anti-idiotype vaccine maintenance treatment, and prognostic significance as a biomarker was investigated. No statistically significant association was observed in the multivariate analysis between overall survival and tissue NeuGcGM3 IHC levels. Although numerically there was a difference favoring less intense IHC for better prognosis, this did not reach statistical power.

The purpose of the study was to compare the development of acute kidney injury (AKI) in patients who received intravenous cisplatin alone, HIPEC and underwent surgery.
Methods: This retrospective study included 104 patients who underwent different therapeutic procedures including systemic cisplatin, surgery and HIPEC or HIC using cisplatin for the treatment of peritoneal carcinomatosis from a variety of primary tumors at Koc University Hospital and American Hospital between January 2015 to December 2017.
The geographical location and differences in tumor biology significantly change the management of gastric cancer. The prevalence of gastric cancer ranks fifth and sixth among men and women, respectively, in Turkey. The international guidelines from the Eastern and Western countries fail to manage a considerable amount of inconclusive issues in the management of gastric cancer.

Although the clinical and pathological characteristics of the disease are well-known, the clinical and pathological characteristics and the response to treatment are not clear in elderly patients.

Observations: A 58-year-old male patient with visual complaints, positive anti-retinal antibodies and negative work-up for cancer was diagnosed with npAIR. Visual acuity and ancillary tests were normal except abnormal ERG in both eyes.
Purpose: Unlike cetuximab, there is a paucity of biomarkers for bevacizumab as predictors of outcome in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) patients. Obviously exploring the worth of some potential markers in this setting is warranted. The purpose of this study was to investigate the predictive value of the presence of K-RAS and B-RAF mutations on the outcome of patients with mCRC treated with FOLFIRI and bevacizumab combination therapy.

Methods: Data of patients with extraskeletal Ewing's sarcoma followed up at our center between 1997 and 2010 were retrospectively analyzed.
Results: The median age of 27 patients was 24 years (range, 16-54 years).
A case history is presented of a 34-year-old woman who was treated postoperatively for breast cancer with combination chemotherapy including epirubicin. The catheter of the port penetrated the wall of the superior vena cava, and extravasation in the mediastinum occurred. Severe pain, fever, and bilateral pleural effusion developed that necessitated two drainage procedures.

There are still some questions though, concerning the in vivo effects of this combination on lymphocytes. We designed a prospective pilot study to evaluate in vivo effects of low dose IL-2 and IFN-alpha combination on expression of Bcl-2, FAS (Apo-1/CD 95), Fas Ligand, IL-2 receptor (CD25), and HLA-DR on peripheral lymphocytes in patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma.
