Explaining the challenges of resources management and its underlying factors in COVID-19 era in Iran: a qualitative study.

Background: Identifying factors affecting health costs can contribute to formulating the best policies for controlling and managing health costs. To this end, the present study aimed to analyze resource wastage and identify the factors underlying it in COVID-19 management in Iran's health sector.

Method: This qualitative content analysis study was conducted in Iran's health sector.

Temporal analysis of visceral leishmaniasis between 2000 and 2019 in Ardabil Province, Iran: A time-series study using ARIMA model.

Background: Visceral leishmaniasis in human (VLH) also known as kala-azar is a neglected disease of humans that mainly occurs in more than 50 countries mostly located in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Northern America.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the temporal patterns and predict of occurrence of VL in Ardabil Province, in northwestern Iran using autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) models.

Methods: This descriptive study employed yearly and monthly data of 602 cases of VLH in the province between January 2000 to December 2019, which was provided by the leishmaniasis national surveillance system.

Cost-Effectiveness Analysis of Breast Cancer Screening in Rural Iran.

Background: Although breast cancer is the most common cancer in women, economic evaluation of breast cancer screening is not fully addressed in developing countries. The main objective of the present study was to analyze the cost-effectiveness of breast cancer screening using mammography in 35-69 year old women in an Iranian setting.

Materials And Methods: This was an economic evaluation study assessing the cost-effectiveness of a population-based screening program in 35-69 year old women residing in rural areas of South east Iran.

Survey of social health insurance structure in selected countries; providing framework for basic health insurance in Iran.

Introduction And Objectives: Health system reforms are the most strategic issue that has been seriously considered in healthcare systems in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency and effectiveness. The costs of health system finance in our country, lack of universal coverage in health insurance, and related issues necessitate reforms in our health system financing. The aim of this research was to prepare a structure of framework for social health insurance in Iran and conducting a comparative study in selected countries with social health insurance.
