Background: Endometrial cancer in young women (less than 40-year-old) is associated with anovulatory menses, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and subfertility. Endometrial cancer occurring in a miscarriage is rare. We highlight a case of endometrial cancer occurring during miscarriage of a non-viable pregnancy, its management and the outcome.

Thus, this study aimed to identify the motivations, barriers and preferences towards exercise among female undergraduates in Malaysia.
Methods: A non-probability purposive sampling was used for the recruitment process.
While associations between trace elements and heavy metals with prostate cancer are still debatable, they have been considered as risk factors for prostate cancer. Thus, this study aimed to detect any links between selected minerals and heavy metals including Se, Zn, Cu, Mn and Fe with prostate cancer. A case control study was carried out among 100 subjects (case n=50, control n=50), matched for age and ethnicity.

The purpose of this research was to study the correlation between hepatic GST and metallothionein with hepatic Cd in wild Fejervarya limnocharis exposed to environmental Cd. Results showed that frogs from contaminated sites had significantly higher hepatic metallothionein (3.

This study was conducted to determine the levels of cadmium, lead, and arsenic in nail samples from farmers at Muda Agricultural Development Authority (MADA), Kedah, Malaysia, and evaluate factors that can contribute to their accumulations. A total of 116 farmers participated in this study.

The cyclicity and continuity of reproduction can often be predicted from the annual gonadosomatic index trends in a species specific manner. This research aims to document the female and male gonadosomatic index profiles and to ascertain the reproductive cyclicity or continuity of (Anura: Ranidae) caught in Mae Sot, Tak Province, Thailand.

This research determined cadmium accumulation and bioconcentration factors of whole organism, liver, kidney, ovary and testis of Fejervarya limnocharis exposed to different environmental cadmium levels. Frogs from contaminated sites had significantly higher hepatic (1.

Objectives: To ascertain the embryotoxicity of peritoneal fluid from infertile women with endometriosis (PF-E), on mouse embryos in culture and to examine the effect of pyruvate in the culture medium on PF-E induced embryotoxicity.
Study Design: Blood-free peritoneal fluid samples were obtained during laparoscopic investigation for infertility from 21 infertile women with endometriosis. The severity of endometriosis ranged from minimal or mild (PF-min to mild-E; n=7), moderate (PF-mod-E; n=7), to severe (PF-sev-E; n=7).

Objectives: An imbalance of vasoconstrictor and vasodilator substances in the placenta has been postulated in the pathogenesis of pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH). There is however little information available on the kallikrein-kinin system (KKS) in women with PIH. The aim of this study therefore was to determine tissue kallikrein and kininogen levels and their distribution patterns in fetoplacental tissues from both normotensive pregnant (NTP) women and women with PIH.
