Construct validity of primary trait writing rubrics based on assessment use argument (AUA) validation framework.

In assessing performance-based language assessment, the use of a valid and reliable scoring rubric is crucial to minimize measurement errors that become threats in the rating process. The validation process of rubrics which previously was based on qualitative data is not satisfying since empirical evidence is not present. Thus, drawing on the Assessment Use Argument (AUA) Validation Framework, this study aims to search for evidence to prove a claim which is Primary Trait Writing (PTW) rubrics for students self assessment activities are relevant to the construct being measured.

The influence of learning styles on academic procrastination among students in mathematics.

Introduction: Procrastination is a complex psychological and behavioral construct that is strongly influenced by certain personality traits. In mathematics learning, students find it difficult to master the concepts because of less exposure to learning styles. The relationship of Grasha-Riechmann Teaching Styles with teaching experience of National-Type Chinese Primary Schools Mathematics Teacher.

Grasha-Riechmann Teaching Styles have a high potential to be applied in Mathematics especially to help increase teacher educators' knowledge. The study aims to develop the Adversity Quotient (AQ) index of pre-service teachers during practicum training. The study also has assessed psychometric characteristics using the Rasch model. The original contribution is by addressing gaps of measuring AQ accurately among pre-service teachers through index at the Institute of Teacher Education (IPG) that not been widely explored.

Purpose: This study aims to develop an instrument with good psychometric properties, based on the Rasch measurement model and confirmatory factor analysis.
