This research highlights a sustainable approach for the design and synthesis of a magnetic nickel ferrite (NiFeO) catalyst reutilizing industrial waste, specifically iron ore tailing and Raney nickel catalyst processing waste, by simple co-precipitation method. Transforming waste materials into high-performance catalysts, this study aligns with the principles of a circular economy, addressing both environmental waste and pollution. Structural characterization by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and microscopic (FESEM and TEM) revealed the formation of well crystalline nano ferrite with NiFeO nanoparticles with cubic spinel structure.

The study aimed to comprehensively describe the clinical-epidemiological profile, disaster emergency response, and management following a train collision accident in Odisha, India.
Methods: This observational study was conducted by a tertiary care hospital in eastern India.
Trypsin inhibitor from the root-tuber of underutilized legume Winged bean (Psophocarpus tetragonolobus (L.) DC.) (WbT-TI) was purified using ion exchange chromatography followed by size-exclusion chromatography.

Recently, β-glucan has gained attention due to its multiple biological roles, like anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects. Globally, bacteria, mushrooms, yeast and cereals are used as conventional sources of β-glucan.

The release of hazardous hexavalent chromium from chromite mining seriously threatens habitats and human health by contaminating water, air, and soil. Vulnerability to hexavalent chromium can result in significant health risks, respiratory issues, gastrointestinal illnesses, skin problems in humans, and a plethora of toxic effects in animals. Moreover, Cr(VI) toxicity can adversely affect plant physiology by inhibiting seed germination, nutrient uptake, cell division, and root development, ultimately impairing growth and vitality.

We analyzed TCGA data and found that HPV+ HNSCC expressed higher transcript levels of the bromodomain and extra terminal domain (BET) family of transcriptional coregulators. The role of BET protein-mediated transcription of viral-cellular genes in the viral-HNSCC genomes needs to be better understood.
