Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDSs), either primary or secondary, are a heterogeneous group of clonal hematological neoplasms characterized by bone marrow dyshematopoiesis, peripheral blood cytopenia, and the potential risk of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) transformation. The clinical heterogeneity in MDS is a reflection of the underlying multitude of genetic defects playing a role in the pathogenesis. Recent advances in the clinicopathological, immunophenotypic, and molecular landscape in understanding the pathophysiology of MDS lead to evolving and refined classification systems with newer entities.

Purpose Of Review: This review aims to address the subgroup of patients with newly diagnosed multiple myeloma (NDMM) who have high-risk multiple myeloma (HRMM) and continue to experience poor outcomes despite recent therapeutic advances. We will explore various clinical, biochemical, imaging, genetic, and dynamic features associated with high-risk status, along with the different risk stratification tools developed to identify HRMM patients.

A network pharmacology approach was used to construct comprehensive pharmacological networks, elucidating the interactions between agarwood compounds and key biological targets associated with cancer pathways. We have employed a combination of network pharmacology, molecular docking and molecular dynamics to unravel agarwood plants' active components and potential mechanisms. Aim: To demonstrate how workshop and mentoring across a network of radiotherapy centers helped in transitioning from point A to volume-based image guided brachytherapy in carcinoma cervix.

Materials And Methods: Based on discussion with different centers across the network, the lapses in cervical cancer treatment were identified and a workshop was designed to change the practice pattern. The main focus of the workshop was to streamline EBRT dose prescription protocols and implement volume based image guided brachytherapy through mentoring and hands on training.

The success of developing prominent hybrids directly depends on the selection of parents with good combining ability which can transfer desirable genes with additive effects to their progeny. The data of 42 hybrids generated using 7 × 7 full diallel design; their seven parents along with three check hybrids were subjected to combining ability analysis from the experiment that was carried out during rainy season 2019. The analysis of variance showed significant general combining ability, and specific combining ability mean sum of squares for all the thirteen characters studied.
