Background: Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a common intervention for managing coronary artery disease, which is often accompanied by postoperative psychological challenges such as anxiety and depression. This systematic review aims to evaluate the benefits of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) in reducing anxiety and depression symptoms and improving overall health outcomes in patients' post-coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
Methods: A search of Science Direct, PsycINFO, PubMed, Google Scholar, VHL, Cochrane, and Scopus databases was conducted until October 2023.
Background: The Migraine-Specific Quality-of-Life Questionnaire version 2.1 (MSQ 2.1) is one of the most frequently used tools in assessing the impact of migraine in clinical practice and in migraine research.

Objectives: Parkinson's disease sleep scale (PDSS) was recommended by the Movement Disorder Society task force for screening and grading the severity of sleep problems in Parkinson's disease (PD). This work aimed to examine the validity and reliability of an Arabic version of PDSS-2.
Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out on 133 patients fulfilling diagnostic criteria for PD.
Evidence from animal experiments has shown that chlorinated polyfluoroalkyl ether sulfonic acids (Cl-PFESAs) can induce vision dysfunction in zebrafish. However, environmental epidemiological evidence supporting this hypothesis remains limited. In our case-control study, samples collected from 270 individuals (135 controls and 135 cases) from the Isomers of C8 Health Project data were analyzed for Cl-PFESAs.

However, inadequate infrastructure, limited access to specialized tools, and a shortage of skilled teachers may contribute to lower self-confidence and academic performance. This underscores the necessity for specific guidelines and recommendations to address an optimal classroom setting that is tailored to their visual needs.

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal illumination level for visual function and visual comfort of schoolchildren with low vision and the relationship between them. A cross-sectional study was conducted to assess five levels of illumination ranging from 125 lux to 2000 lux to determine the optimal illumination for visual functions and visual comfort in schoolchildren with low vision from a special education school for blind in Malaysia.

Background: Anesthesiologists must always perform a preoperative airway examination to identify individuals who will have challenging laryngoscopy. In an effort to identify the most accurate airway predictor, numerous authors have evaluated a number of predictive assays. Thyromental height test (TMHT), a new airway predictor, has recently been demonstrated to have good predictive value in determining difficult airways.

This study seeks to examine differences in outcomes following flexion-distraction injuries after operative and nonoperative management.
Methods: This study reviews all patients at a single Level 1 trauma center from 2004 to 2022 with AO Spine B1 thoracolumbar injuries treated operatively vs nonoperatively.
Bunionette deformity is an incredibly pervasive issue in our society with almost a quarter of individuals being affected by it. As it is so common, there are numerous techniques and approaches to correct the deformity. Currently, there is a growing trend that favors percutaneous osteotomy of the bunionette.

Background: The Headache Impact Test (HIT-6) is an important patient-reported outcome measure (PROM) in migraine prevention trials.
Objectives: This study aimed to (i) assess the reliability and validity of the Arabic version of HIT-6 in Arabic-speaking patients experiencing migraine, and (ii) evaluate the responsiveness of HIT-6 following migraine preventive therapy.
Methods: In this prospective study, patients with migraine (n = 145) were requested to fill out a headache diary, the Arabic version of HIT-6, and Migraine Disability Assessment Scale (MIDAS) at two time points (baseline and 3 months after initiation of prophylactic treatment).
Children with developmental disabilities have different feeding and swallowing problems. The purposes of the present study were to develop an Arabic version of the FHI-C and to evaluate its validity, consistency, and reliability in Arabic children with developmental disabilities for assessing how feeding and swallowing problems impair the physical, functional, and emotional aspects of children's lives. A prospective study including 113 children [62 children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), 24 with cerebral palsy (CP), 27 with intellectual disability (ID)], in the age range of 2 to 10 years, selected randomly from the swallowing clinic, phoniatrics unit, Otorhinolaryngology department, University hospital between September 2023 and December 2023 complaining of feeding and swallowing problems.

Methods: Utilizing the Joanna Briggs Institute's methodology, we appraised peer-reviewed articles and unpublished studies, focusing on the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, with no limit to date.
Results: Four basic components of antimicrobial prescribing to be evaluated during assessment of antimicrobial appropriateness in the community setting were identified: diagnosis for infection or indication for antimicrobial therapy, choice of antimicrobial therapy, dosing, and duration of therapy.
Unlabelled: Long-term outcome and 'health-related quality of life' (HRQoL) following hospitalisation for COVID-19-related severe acute respiratory infection (SARI) is limited.
Objective: To assess the impact of HRQoL in patients hospitalised with COVID-19-related SARI at 1 year post discharge, focusing on the potential impact of age, frailty, and disease severity.
Method: Routinely collected outcome data on 1207 patients admitted with confirmed COVID-19 related SARI across all three secondary care sites in our NHS trust over 3 months were assessed in this retrospective cohort study.
Objectives: To analyze the relationship between patient resilience and patient-reported outcomes after orthopaedic trauma.
Design: Retrospective analysis of prospectively collected data.
Setting: Single Level 1 Trauma Center.
