Comparative Analysis of Canal Centering and Transportation: Edgefile X7 vs HyFlex EDM in Moderately Curved Mesiobuccal Root Canals of Mandibular Molars.

BACKGROUND This cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) endodontics study aimed to compare the canal-centering ability and canal transportation of Edgefile X7 and HyFlex EDM files in moderately curved mesiobuccal (MB) root canals of 30 mandibular first permanent molar teeth. MATERIAL AND METHODS Thirty permanent mandibular first molars with 10° and 24° of mesial root curvature were selected and scanned with CBCT. Two experimental groups of 15 each were made: group I: HyFlex EDM, and group II: Edgefile X7.

Evaluation of colour change, marginal adaptation, fracture strength, and failure type in maxillary and mandibular premolar zirconia endo-crowns.

Objectives: The objective of this in vitro study was to evaluate the effects of different preparation designs on the mean colour change (ΔE), marginal adaptation, fracture resistance, and fracture types of maxillary and mandibular premolar endocrowns (ECs).

Methodology: A total of 40 extracted maxillary and mandibular premolars were treated endodontically, and each type was subdivided according to the remaining axial height (remaining walls on all surfaces; 2-4 mm) and 2 mm inside the pulp chamber. Specimens were immersed in coffee for 14 days, ΔE was determined, marginal adaptation was observed, fracture forces test was conducted, and the samples were examined visually at 10× magnification to evaluate failure type and identify fracture origin.

This study aimed to assess depression, anxiety, and stress (DAS) among dental and medical practitioners in Saudi Arabia, investigating influential factors on their psychological behavior.

Methods: This study was carried out following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses recommendations. The electronic databases of PubMed, Science Direct, Scopus, Wiley Library, Google website search, and Web of Science were searched.

This systematic review of the literature aimed to evaluate the findings from cross-sectional studies conducted in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) on levels of dental anxiety (DA) between genders and among various demographic groups. MATERIAL AND METHODS An electronic search of PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases was carried out in January 2022.
