The introduction of (p, q)-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy set into the field of fuzzy set theory is a significant advancement, providing a broader perspective to address complicated decision-making scenarios. Alongside, the preference ranking organization method for enrichment of evaluation (PROMETHEE) emerges as a widely recognized tool for tackling multi-criteria decision-making challenges. This study contributes theoretically to the decision-making field by integrating (p, q)-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy sets into the PROMETHEE framework, improving (p, q)-rung linear Diophantine fuzzy sets adaptability and efficiency in practical aspects, the proposed framework can effectively address various intricate decision-making challenges encountered in real-world scenarios.

This work presents a novel technique to improve oil pipeline monitoring capabilities, a vital activity in the oil and gas sector. Using Monte Carlo simulations, the work meticulously records data from a pipeline testing environment with various petroleum products and volume ratios. Dendritic fibromyxolipoma (DFML) is a benign, very rare, and slow-growing soft tissue tumor commonly involving the muscular fascia of the foot, calf, shoulders, back, or head and neck muscles. Nasogastric and orogastric tube (NGT/OGT) insertion is a routine in-hospital procedure used in patients who need enteral feeding, medication administration, and gastric decompression in a patient unable to tolerate per oral administration. NGT insertion has a relatively low complication rate when performed adequately; however, previous studies demonstrate that associated complications range from delicate, simple nose bleeds to more severe conditions such as nasal mucosal bleeding, which can be easily aspirated in a patient with encephalopathy or other conditions associated with the inability to protect the airway. Here we present a case of traumatic NGT insertion causing nasal bleeding, leading to respiratory distress secondary to aspiration of blood clot obscuring the airway.
