Background: Primary aldosteronism is a common cause of secondary hypertension. Resolution of hypertension and hypokalemia after adrenalectomy for primary aldosteronism is variable. This study examines preoperative factors for persistent hypertension and long-term outcome after laparoscopic adrenalectomy in patients with primary aldosteronism.

Introduction: Coat's plus syndrome is an extremely rare genetic syndrome that leads to a variety of symptoms. We are reporting a case of Coat's plus syndrome that had persistent GI bleeding and review of current literature.

Presentation Of Case: The patient is a female in her 40 s with a history of coat's disease and end stage renal failure on dialysis.

Venous thromboembolism (VTE) is a common medical condition, particularly after surgical interventions. Many studies have shown that development of VTE, including both deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE), is more common in surgical patients with cancer than in patients without cancer.
