[Tuberculous vesicovaginal fistula complicated by bladder stones: about an exceptional case].

Vesicovaginal fistula (VVF) continues to be a major public health problem in developing countries. Given the particular association of VVF with stones, the question that arises is whether the fistula is primary or secondary to bladder stone and then whether to use single-stage or two-stage treatment. But what is special about this study is that these rare clinical features are due to tuberculosis.

Unilateral primitive hydatid cyst with surgical resection of the scrotum: a case report.

Introduction: Hydatid disease remains a public health problem in many Mediterranean countries. Liver and lung localizations are the most common. Renal hydatid cysts represent 2 percent to 4 percent of the visceral forms of this disease.

Introduction: Testicular cancer is the most common malignancy in men 15- to 35-years-old. The North American standard classification divides testicular cancers into germ cell tumors and non-germ cell tumors. The lymphatic spread of germ cell tumors usually involves the retroperitoneal lymph nodes.

Abscess of urachal remnants presenting with acute abdomen: a case series.

Introduction: Urachal diseases are rare and may develop from a congenital anomaly in which a persistent or partial reopening of the fetal communication between the bladder and the umbilicus persists. The most frequently reported urachal anomalies in adults are infected urachal cyst and urachal carcinoma. The diagnosis of this entity is not always easy because of the rarity of these diseases and the atypical symptoms at presentation.

Epididymal leiomyosarcoma: one case report.

Epididymal leiomyosarcoma is very uncommon. Only 16 cases have been reported in the literature. There has never been a reported case of a patient with an African origin with this tumor.

Giant primary adrenal hydatid cyst presenting with arterial hypertension: a case report and review of the literature.

Introduction: A primary hydatid cyst of the adrenal gland is still an exceptional localization. The adrenal gland is an uncommon site even in Morocco, where echinococcal disease is endemic.

Case Presentation: We report the case of a 64-year-old Moroccan man who presented with the unusual symptom of arterial hypertension associated with left flank pain.

Unilateral exophthalmos revealing metastatic prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer, when metastatic, typically involves the axial skeleton. Sphenoidal metastasis is uncommon. We report a rare case of a 75-year-old man who presented with isolated unilateral exophthalmos.

Inflammatory pseudotumor of the kidney: a case report.

Introduction: Inflammatory pseudotumors, also known as inflammatory myofibroblastic tumors, are uncommon benign tumors of unknown etiology which may develop at several anatomical sites. In the urogenital tract, inflammatory pseudotumor usually affects the urinary bladder or the prostate. Inflammatory pseudotumor of the kidney is very rare.

Bilateral testicular self-castration due to cannabis abuse: a case report.

Introduction: The self-mutilating patient is an unusual psychiatric presentation in the emergency room. Nonetheless, serious underlying psychiatric pathology and drug abuse are important background risk factors. A careful stepwise approach in the emergency room is essential, although the prognosis, follow-up, and eventual rehabilitation can be problematic.

Spectacularly successful microsurgical penile replantation in an assaulted patient: one case report.

Penile amputation is a rare condition for which immediate surgical replantation is warranted. We present herein one case of a 27-year-old male who presented to the Emergency Department after his wife cut his penis. The penis was replanted microsurgically.

Conservative management of a congenital seminal vesicle cyst associated with ipsilateral renal agenesis revealed by cystitis: one case report.

Seminal vesicle cyst is an extremely rare disease. Its association with ipsilateral renal agenesis is even more exceptional. We present herein one case of a 16-year-old male who presented with a four-month history of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTSs) and micturition pain.

Perianal abscesses due to ingested foreign bodies.

The clinical presentation of perianal abscesses due to foreign bodies (FBs) impacted in the anal canal mimics common causes of acute anal pain. The diagnosis can be established by digital rectal examination and/or proctoscopy, but may miss the presence of an FB. Incision and drainage of the abscess, along with removal of the FB, results in immediate pain relief and cure.

Remission of hypertension after treatment of giant simple renal cyst: a case report.

Renal cysts are common in old patients, and usually remain untreated. Giant renal cysts measuring more than 15 cm in greatest diameter are uncommon and the association with hypertension is very rare. We present a case of a 25-year-old woman with a giant right renal cyst associated with hypertension that was treated by laparoscopic excision, followed by resolution hypertension.

Benign paratesticular fibrous pseudotumor with malignant clinical features.

Paratesticular tumors are rare intrascrotal masses that grow mainly in structures containing connective tissue around the testis, epididymis, or spermatic cord. We report here on a case of a 55-year-old man with a mass in the hemiscrotum that was found to be a paratesticular fibrous pseudotumor in the orchiectomy specimen pathologic examination. From this case report and literature review, a diagnostic and therapeutic strategy is demonstrated for the management of this uncommon lesion.
