Global epidemiology, genotype distribution and coinfection rate of Human Aichi virus: A systematic review.

Background: Acute gastroenteritis is a major health concern for all age groups and accounts for more than 2.5 million deaths annually in children under five years old. Human Aichi virus causes acute gastroenteritis and is associated with foodborne outbreaks.

Intestinal Absorption Site-Guided Development and Evaluation of Oral Disintegrating Controlled Release Tablets of Mirabegron.

The aim was to employ site-dependent absorption of mirabegron (MB) as a guide for fabrication of oral disintegrating controlled release tablet (ODCRT) which undergoes instantaneous release of loading fraction followed by delayed release of the rest of MB. The goal was to release MB in a manner consistent with the chronobiology of overactive bladder (OAB) syndrome. In situ rabbit intestinal permeability of MB was adopted to assess absorption sites.

Association of a promoter polymorphism in FSHR with ovarian reserve and response to ovarian stimulation in women undergoing assisted reproductive treatment.

Previous studies have suggested an association between a variant in the promoter region of the FSHR gene and diminished response to controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) in women undergoing assisted reproduction. FSHR -29G>A was genotyped in 559 women undergoing their first cycle of COH for IVF/intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) using TaqMan allelic discrimination assay. Correlation and regression analysis was performed to assess the relationship between FSHR promoter genotypes and markers of ovarian reserve and measures of response to COH, including the number of oocytes retrieved, gonadotrophin dose used and the live-birth rate.

Psychiatric morbidity in Egyptian children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and their care providers.

Aim Of The Study: To evaluate the psychological morbidity of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) on children and their parents at different stages of illness and to assess the crucial contribution of the psychologist in the pediatric oncology team.

Methods: We recruited 103 children with ALL and their 96 parents, and divided them into five groups according to disease phase: diagnosis, initial remission, active treatment, survival and relapsing. We compared these to 22 healthy controls and their parents.
